Comnet Communications was founded with a simple principle: never cut corners. Since our start in the early 1990s, we’ve committed to delivering high-quality structured cabling and telecommunications solutions built to last — with no shortcuts and no compromises.

Our founder, Robert Berger, a U.S. Army veteran, built this company with the same discipline, precision, and work ethic that he developed while serving his country from 1985 to 1988. After working for companies that rushed through installations and ignored industry standards, Robert saw the need for a telecommunications contractor that valued craftsmanship and long-term reliability.

In 1991, he launched Comnet Communications to provide something different: structured cabling systems done the right way — every time.

Robert Berger holds a C-7 Low Voltage Contractor License (CA716470) and is a Leviton Structured Cabling School Graduate. He is also BICSI-certified as a Top-Level ITS Technician (TE30 Certified – 245922) and operates under GSA Contract GS35F0711V, ensuring every installation meets or exceeds national cabling standards.

When not overseeing installations or consulting on large-scale projects, Robert enjoys fishing, hunting, and working his ranch in Colorado. His approach to business mirrors his lifestyle: work hard, do it right, and take pride in everything you build.
